Informed consumer Project
The goal of this project was to gain a further understanding of personal finance before leaving high school. We studied many different topics, from loans and credit cards to budgeting and the approximate cost of utilities. For the final project, I chose to focus on personal finance, specifically on the different payment options for a highschooler living at home to purchase a new bike. Below, you can find my calculations and my visual piece for this project.

THe price of College project
This project was designed to help us to better understand the true cost of college and to weigh the benefits of going versus the benefits of not attending college. First, we chose two colleges to research and found out the price for the tuition and the tuition with fees. Then, we made spreadsheets to calculate thing like the projected price for when we were attending and the average yearly price increase. After this, we made a cost-benefit analysis, which weighed the pros of going to college against the cons, in both monetary and non-monetary ways. As a conclusion, we wrote a short reflection on whether college is worth it to us from a monetary aspect. I came to the conclusion that college would be a worthwhile investment for me due to the benefits outweighing the costs.
